Whitney Milam is a mission-driven storyteller passionate about shaping narratives that inspire action, with over a decade of experience across the public and private sectors. She currently leads brand and content for Proxima Fusion, and previously led digital communications for Commonwealth Fusion Systems. Prior to that, she worked as Director of Digital Platforms at Climate Power, served as Director of Digital Services for the U.S. Mission to the United Nations at the State Department, and oversaw digital strategy for the Biden-Harris Presidential Transition, National Security Action, and the Atlantic Council.

 

Whitney originally honed her craft in the entertainment industry, writing and producing digital series, scripted and unscripted content, and integrated marketing campaigns for Discovery, Lionsgate, Legendary, and more. She began her career at Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios.

 

Currently based in Munich, Germany, Whitney brings a global perspective to her work, having previously lived in Japan and seven different U.S. states. She is originally from Los Angeles, California and graduated from UCLA.
