Whitney Milam is a digital director, creative producer, and communications strategist with a passion for storytelling. Prior to her most recent role leading communications and digital engagement for Commonwealth Fusion Systems, she was Director of Digital Platforms at Climate Power and Director of Digital Services for the U.S. Mission to the United Nations at the State Department. She previously led digital strategy for the Biden-Harris Presidential Transition and was Associate Director of Digital Communications at National Security Action and the Atlantic Council.

 

Before applying her digital expertise to corporate, political, and policy communications, Whitney produced digital series and short films for New Form Digital, Discovery, Lionsgate, Legendary, and more. Additionally, she wrote and produced dozens of shows, segments, and videos for AwesomenessTV, POPSUGAR, Geek & Sundry, and CryptTV. She began her career at Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios.

 

Currently based near Boston, Whitney attended UCLA and has lived in Washington DC, Alabama, Arizona, Idaho, Tennessee, Germany, and Japan. A life-long lover of travel, history, and literature, she is also a writer and prize-winning book collector.
